Andi Hayes
Sustainability & Infrastructure Research Analyst
Andi is an emerging researcher in sustainability and infrastructure, with cross-sector experience in the circular economy, ESG analysis, climate technology, and environmental compliance. She earned her B.A. in Environmental Science and Policies from the University of California, Irvine, where she founded the Sustainable & Just Future (SJF) UCI Chapter. In this role, she led student-driven programs on waste reduction, climate education, and community organizing, impacting hundreds across campus and the broader community.
From 2022 to 2025, Andi contributed to Songbird Capital’s research on climate-aligned investment strategies, producing actionable insights on circular economy, renewable energy, and sustainable digital infrastructure—including data center resilience and circular design.
Her experience spans both the public and private sectors. At the California Department of Housing & Community Development, she coordinated regulatory reviews and environmental impact assessments under CEQA and NEPA, supporting sustainable, affordable housing development. In the climate tech space, she advised homeowners on low-emission HVAC and water systems at Harvest Thermal and helped launch the inaugural SoCal Circular Textiles Summit in partnership with Recurvence.
Andi brings a multidisciplinary skill set bridging research, strategy, and communication. Her technical capabilities include ArcGIS, SQL, MATLAB, and a range of design and productivity tools—enabling her to translate complex sustainability challenges into accessible, impactful solutions.
